but has deeply cut leaves that have toothed margins

The leaves are  1/4" long

Give it regular watering for the first year or two

Pruning can make a more compact and attractive specimen

and the flowers appear all along the stems

this lepidote rhododendron is quite vigorous

the brighter the color

Perhaps her tender nature has something to do with that as we can only recommend this plant for zones 9 and 10 but if you can grow her

it will be be more lime-green
