The nose : Direct

underwent a two-day cold soak

This could use more depth but there is enough stuff and acid support to envision it developing with a few years of bottle age

chocolate and earth

It shows blackberry and black plum

except for the huge density that runs through the palate

black cherry and wild strawberry

it's drinking well out of the gates but will also develop gracefully for a few years in the cellar

Pairs well with fresh shellfish

Well balanced

ripe tannins and a long finish
