Cantina Tollo - Trebbiano d'Abruzzo (1L)Cantina Tollo is a wine cooperative that was founded in 1960, at a time when many of its residents left the countryside in search of a better future. The families of the founding members of the cooperative, winemakers for generations, decided instead to stay in the vineyards and came together to create Cantina Tollo. The town of Tollo rises on a rounded hill at an altitude of 150 meters, in the province of Chieti, about 20 km from Pescara in Abruzzo.

This is the essence of their traditional approach to making wine

complemented by the meticulous selection of vineyards

and sipped an array of the top white Burgundies of France and a small sampling of upstart Chardonnays from the Napa Valley
