Gibson Moderne - Black Cream Black Cream Black 5 ply Strat BodiesDesigned under the Modernist Series, prototypes of which were shown at the 1957 NAMM show, the Moderne was originally intended to be the sibling of the Flying V and Explorer but never made it off of the launch pad. This pickguard will fit Gibson's "New" Moderne of which captures the look, feel and sound of the original, and puts it in the hands of players today. This decrases the intensity of the inductance in the coils and produces a softer less sharp tone
