These bears were only made for a short period of time around 1907. He has the following Bruin Manufacturing Company features: Small rounded ears set wide apart on head give a fox like appearance, shoe button eyes, five claws, vertically stitched nose, long arms, felt pads and large oval feet. The levers to operate the mouth mechanism are missing ( these were to the back of her head) but all her joints seem sound

Because it was only made for a short period of time

an uncovered one is quite worn with some holes but she has retained her Chad Valley label
