You'd think that following "Melodies Of Love" would be an impossible task

Neither of these tracks have ever been pressed to vinyl

I really went to town adding lots of guitar layers and experimenting with different sounds

Six of the songs on the album were Morrison originals

and although it starts out sounding like a very blue Eric Burdon

After three more releases and a handful of line-up changes The Hoax called it a day

Dolphy managed to possess the revolutionary spirit of the avant-garde while keeping a foot firmly planted in the feeling of swing
