Omega Workshops Fish Art Rug ManetThe Courtauld have collaborated with Christopher Farr Rugs to create a range of five limited edition art rugs taken from designs originally produced by The Omega Workshops members. This design was taken from a drawing, Rug Design by Duncan Grant (1885 1978). Currently part of the collection of the Courtauld Gallery, Rug Design has simple motifs and bright primary colours. This rapidly executed sketch suggest that it was an initial idea for a doormat.
